I have searched the "Mobley's in America" and find only this about B. R. Mobley:

There are some Mobleys buried in the Old Choctaw Corner Cemetery. [So. AL]
Mobley, Daisy d/o Dr.M. W. and M.P., marker broken 2/9/74 ????76
Mobley infant d/o Dr.M.W. and M. P. twin marker broken 2/28/1870 & 1870
Mobley Katie d/o Dr. M. W. & M. P., twin 2/28/1870 11/11/1872
Mobley, Rebecca wife of Col. B. R. Mobley age 74 no dates.

Mobley W. M. Dr. marker born age 49 yr. 10 mo. 22 da born 12/20/1832

Looks like the initials were reversed on Dr. Mobley's marker. Could be M. W
sent by Mickey Mathis.

To be able to search the files you must subscribe to the Mobley net (at no charge).
Send via email as much of your ancestry as you can find to arl Mobley at ( and put the word subscribe in the subject line. Carl is presently in the hospital recovering from surgery, but rest assured just as soon as he is back home he will again be at his computer.
