I have information on Thomas Isaiah and Willie Carrie Waters Mobley that I received from Mobleys In America (MIA), but I don't have much information on their descendants. Are you descended from their son Homer Harvey Mobley? His daughter, Verda Mae Mobley, married a Whatley, but I don't have any information on their children except for a Doris. I would love fill in the gaps in my files and share information with you.

There are some mistakes in the MIA files, but they're pretty good. One mistake is that Clement Mobley, Sr. (4 Oct 1746-Mar 1834) was buried in Kimbler Cemetery rather than LaRue Cemetery in Crawford Co., AR. Someone on this Forum sent me a photo of his grave to verify it.

You can write to me at my e-mail address at I can send you a Genealogy Report of my family.
