Confederate Veteran mag., dated Nov., 1928, page 429.
AT BEAUVOIR CONFEDERATE HOME- After a long illness, I.H. MOBLEY died at the Confederate Home , on Aug.12, aged 84 years. He was born in Lawrence Co., Miss., August 4, 1844 and served with Company E, 4th Mississippi Cavalry, Stark's Brigade, Bufords Division, Forrest's Corps.

[ Comrade Mobley was one of six brothers who served in the Confederate army; two of whom are still living, one in Texas and the other in Louisiana.]
