Sue,
I Know this is a old post. But was wondering if you ever found your Lucinda MOBLEY connection. My husband's Great Great grandfather was Josiah Mobley b 1839, His father "the GGG" James b. abt.1794 was from Lincoln/Rockcastle KY. Son of "GGGG" James and Mary "Blye" Mobley & they had a daughter listed as "LuVinia" It's a long shot, But LuVinia -LuCinda, could have been written wrong or misinturputed..Just thinking maybe, Could there be a connection? I know the dates are off, but am thinking it might be the same family, maybe a cousin to my Josiah.
Also other researchers say: GGGG James Mobley had at least two brothers by the name of Edward & Benjamin.
Thanks,
Ol' Missouri Gal, Just digging up bones.
