In those days it was common to have the husbands given name when identifying women. Mary Mobley could have been called Mary Isiah Mobley. I have seen this in Edwin Scott's Book. "Random Recollections of a Long Life."

I am descended from Samuel Mobley and Mary Wagner through their daughter, Mary, who maried David Shannon.
