Their parents were William Stewart, and Susan Hill, b. circa 1805 GA,
and b. circa 1809 GA, respectively. William's parents were James Stewart b. circa 1774 VA, and Olive____(Some say Diamond, and some say Beard) b.
circa 1778 VA. Susan's father was either Richard Hill, or his brother John Hill, sons of Col. Abel Hill of Rutherford Co., NC, b. VA. The Hill's and Mobley's were somewhat intermarried (many lines) in VA, and in Fairfield Co., SC. James Stewart's parents were William Stewart b. circa 1754 VA, and unknown woman b. unknown date Pennsylvania. William Stewart and his 6 sons: James, William, Absalom, John, Robert, and unknown (possibly d. young), and
daughter Mary/Polly were in Pendleton District, SC, from about 1788 through 1801, and then moved to Jackson Co., GA. See: "The 1800 Census of Pendleton Dist., SC," and "Gone to Georgia, " by William C. Stewart.
Hope this helps.
