I have lots of information on the Mobley family. My husband's family. Daniel is my husbands 3rd gg on the Minnie Wells Mobley side. She married Daniel Henry Hunt. His grandfather. Now it gets weird because Rebecca Mobley married Lot Long, Rebecca was Daniel's dau. She had John Edward Long. John Edward Long married Mary Ann Bell. They had William Nudie Long. That is my husbands grandfather. Arminda Long (my hus mom) married William Randolf Hunt, Minnie Wells Mobley's grandson. So Arminda and William Randolf were 4th cousins once removed.

My mother-in-law had two toddlers that died from respiratory problems. The doctor who delivered them said I wish these people would move away from Decatur County and quite marrying their cousins.

Of course, I doubt that is what caused it. But it makes for interesting stuff.

Listen, I have a great deal of stuff on the Mobleys, going way back. However, my information came from the same places you are going to find on the internet. I have not verified the information, so it is all speculative. The oldest I have is John Mobberly, Sr. 1662-1727 from Prince George County Maryland.

I have all my info documented in a tree on www.dessertfamilyhistory.com you are welcome, as all descendants, to join the website by registering for a user account. Would like to share more recent info with you. We are in Central Florida. Arminda just recently died. She lived in Decatur County (Bainbridge) as did most of her folks. I think Grady is the next county over.
