Patricia:
Whenever I see the name Jemima pop-up in the MOBLEY family I have to make inquiry. My g-g-grandfather Alfred MOBLEY (b.@1805) was married on 4/8/1830 in Lauderdale Co., AL., to Jemima WHITE (b. @1815, AL.). Since some people were named after favorite aunts and uncles, I thought there could be a family connection somewhere along the line. Do you have any additional information on your Mary Jemima MOBLEY, deceased 1842?
