Quite by accident, while searching the slave narratives, which were done by the WPA, and are on ancestry.com, I found a narrative by a slave of MOBLEY in SC. It is very interesting and has a lot of family information, including that of two of the MOBLEY daughters marrying McCROREYs. url for the narratives is
