Mary: Your info is very interesting, as family "legend" has it that my ggfather Claibourne was born in MO, but the first time we find him in the records (so far) is 1850 in Hickman Cty, KY (adjacent to Graves Cty). If he is the son of Mary Riggs and Richard Mobley, then the Hughes/MO connection could help piece together the puzzle. The plot thickens.... Thanks for keeping an eye out for useful info. Scott
