William--
Do you find an Alfred MOBLEY or John Alfred (Alford) MOBLEY in any of your South Carolina MOBLEY's? I am searching for the parents of my g-g-grandfather Alfred MOBLEY, b. @1806. The Mississippi census of 1850, 1860, 1870 and 1880 list his place of birth as SC, TN, NC and NC respectively. We first find him in Lauderdale Co., AL., in 1830 when he married my g-g-grandmother Jemima WHITE. Children of Alfred and Jemima were: Margaret Ann, Marry Ann, Zilpha, William B., James Appleton and Cynthia.

Researching my MOBLEY, WHITE, APPLETON(?), GIBSON, ISAAC(S), BLAYLOCK, HICKS & WEATHERFORD family lines.
