My maternal grandfather was James Warren Mobley who was born around 1907 and died in 1950. He grew up in North Carolina and moved north to find work and settled near Hagerstown,Maryland in the twenties. Married my grandmother and moved to the suburbs of Wahington D.C. where he worked for the Washington Post until his death.
