William is the son of Edward who is the son of William who was the son of Sir Edward who lived in Queen Elizabeth's time 1533-1603. I have a little info as to how Wm. and Phoebe met and the fact that she was a Quaker. From Wm/Phoebe my line comes down from John (d1753 in Edgecomb County NC), Captain Edward (will in Johnson County dated 1778), Edward (settled in Effingham County GA, d1820), James E. (b1810), Albert (b1830), Reedy Winfield (b1856) and Roland my grand father (b1900). Shirley, I live in Peru, In. and my phone # is 765-472-3265.
