I am looking for the Mobley Family that migrated from NC/SC/GA/to Sumter County, Fl. Their names are John Mobley & wife Zilphy(Zilpha), John died in Sumter Co., Fl abt 1858-59, Wife's date of death is unknown.
From Probate records he had 7 heir's all are not listed. George R. Mobley died in the Civil War, this is listed in the Probate Record's. We know John, George, William and Elethorn Mobley had land in Hamilton Co. Ga. before moving to Sumter Co. Fl. William later moved to Pasco Co. Fl. All of this verified by land Record's (Armed Occupation Act). I have more info, Please Contact me at te94@earthlink.net Thank you, Nancy
