We have the book "The Mobleys in America" compiled by the late Milton C. Mobley [I am the person currently maintaing it].

his parents are:

111622 Francis Brummett Mobley, b. 1/28/1824, Lancaster Co. SC, d. 2/16/1889
is mentioned in will of James Bruce " and F.B. Mobley as trustee for the ch of his first wife Mary Mobley, deceased, etc.."
m. (1) Mary Bruce, b. ca 1834 dau. James
(2) 916/1866 Jemima A. "Minnie" Bailey, b. 10/30/1844, d. 3/20/928
1860 census below Lancaster Co., Dry Creek, SC - household 421-424

F.B.M. parents are:

11162 Caswell Mobley, b. ca 1801, d. 11/24/1861, lived in Lancaster Co., SC.
m. by 1825 Mary (Polly) Twitty, b. 1794, SC, d. 1/14/1864
