Hey ya' all. We're new to this on the internet. But our line from research goes back to a Lucinda Chisolm and William C. Moberly (had about 8 kids). We traced them to Clark Co. & Adair Co. in Kentucky. On the 1850 census it states that William was born in Richmond, VA. (I'm doing this from memory, but I think I have it right.) Their son was Sidney Allen Moberly, who moved to the Missouri/Kansas area. Sidney Allen was married twice - once to a Maybelle (who died) and second to a Sarah Elsey Damron (our line comes through her). I understand that my great grandfather was also a brick mason and that he did the brick streets for Carrollton, MO. My grandfather was Sidney Elsie Mobley (married Lucille Woodson), was a farmer, rancher, gambler in Tina, MO (both are deceased). My father is Sidney Harrison Mobley (Harry) and my mother is Marjorie Huff Mobley. We understand that Sidney Allen was killed in a nearby rock quarry. I do have names and births of the children of Lucinda Chisolm and William Moblery but have been unable to find William's line any further. Haven't had time to pursue, but am getting started once more.
I also know that my father had a cousin in Denver, CO. I have access to that info should anyone need it. Would appreciate any leads anyone may have. Would love to chat anytime!
