Rev.Edward Mobley, Esq. performed the marriage of George Mitchell and Mrs. Margaret Drew - 29 December 1838 in Tuscaloosa,Alabama. I think I found this in a list of marriages.
Nancy B.Hill(Mobley, Price, Sims)was not buried with her last husband nor with her son, Edward. I suspect that her daughter, Jemima, buried her, perhaps in the Price graveyard. (In Greene CO.?) I went to Greene Co. buy ran out of time before I could do this. Old cemeteries there are covered with Brambles three or four feet high. Go in winter to avoid snakes.
I thought that Nancy B. could be Nancy Barrett but could not confirm it. Do you have that?
First Barrette was naturalized in Maryland.
William Woodward was son of Thomas and Jemima (Collins) Woodward. Thomas m. (2) Elizabeth Stokes Mays. He was a Captain in the Rangers under Col. Thomson. Resigned on 30 Jan 1776. Was killed by Tories in 1779. His parents were (John?)Woodward and Mary Simpson (m.2-John Robertson). Mary, dau. of Thomas Simpson and (?) Baxter. (Fairfax Co., VA)
