Lisa--
I am interested in the Alfred Mobley you listed as being a brother of Peyton Mobley. I have been searching for some 45-years for the parents of my g-g-grandfather Alfred Mobley. We first find him in Lauderdale Co., AL., in the 1830 census and also his marriage record there to Jemima White on 4/8/1830, and from census records of 1830 through 1880 his date of birth is estimated between 1800 and 1806 and his place of birth is listed in four census records (1850 through 1880) as either TN.(1x), NC.(2x), or SC(1x). Do you have any additional information on the Alfred Mobley in your family line?
