Hi Larry, Thanks for the responce. John Mobley's parents were Earl Lawson & Louisa Jane Neal Canipe. I have a fairley extensive
background on the Neals, but nothing before Lawson. My John is the youngest of seven kids, so just maybe the Canipes knew the Mobleys and the name was added out of respect for a friendship, who knows. Lawson & Louisa are buried in Prospect Cemetery in Chickasaw County.
