Rex Mobley was the son of William W. "Bummer" Mobley (1868-1946) and Clara Brown (1875-1942) they married in Brown Co, IN 7 Jan 1893. Their children: 1-Pearl (1893-1946), Doras Dollie (1894-1956), Mayme J.(1895-1975), Ivan (1897-1968), & Rex (1905-1958).

William's parents: Charles Thompson Mobley (1834-1876) and Permelia E. Owens (1836-1912) married in Brown Co, IN 20 April 1866. Their known children: 1-James Samuel (1867-1922), 2-William W. (1868-1942), 3-John M. (1869-1932) All buried in Greenlawn Cemetery.

Charles Thompson's parents: William Mobley (1795-1839) & Margaret (1800-?) Their known children: 1-John M. (1829-?), 2-James M. (1830-?), 3-William Thompson 1832-1888, 4-Charles Thompson 1834-1876), 5-Pleasant M. (1836-?) 6-Elizabeth A. (1838-?), 7-Milton P. 1840-?)
