Man for Newt Mobley-Santo Domingo 1910?

Years ago, a stranger called me inquiring about an ancestor of his who had ended up in the Caribbean. At the time I had no idea what he was talking about. This was back during the Contract with America, and I seem to recall that the mysterious ancestor had the same name as notorious Newt Gingrich. Now that I have my father's files in front of me I see that my great great grandfather had a half brother named Newton Herschel...Newt. Now, I could be misremembering. But if I am right, and this is who the man was searching, than hopefully he will see this and write back. If anyone else knows about this Mobley who went off and died in the Dominican, I'd love to know more about him.
