Dear Myra: Have only recently begun to research this surname. Have some old photocopy info which puts the Mobleys in at least 18 GA counties, 2 NC and 1 VA. Have some "Family records" which appear to be reliable and traces the family into SC, but includes no authentication. Have not yet sorted out the SC counties. I am not yet ready to rely on the FWT info. The maternal grandfather of my two sons was Robert Mobley.
