I hope I'm not posting this twice. I've never done this before and I got a little mixed up.
My grandfather was Roy Modlin who's family came from Xenia, Clay County, IL. He died in Feb 1948 in Odin, Marion County, IL.

This "Mr Modlin" was living in Kansas. The letter was possibly written in the early 1900's up until about the mid-20's. This is a guess. The name "Frank" comes to mind but I'm not sure if this was a Frank Modlin or because of my young age at the time, if I have this name confused with someone else. Since I don't know my great-grandfather's name, "Mr Modlin" could have been my great-grandfather or another relative.

At one time Blanche and Delmer Fearing lived in AZ (the 40's?). Both sisters probably died in the 40's or early 50's. I don't recall any brothers. Olive had a son Emerson who was in the military. Blanche had a daughter Doris. Emerson died years ago and we lost track of Doris. (Last name unknown.)

My father was Clyde Modlin (no middle name) born 10/20/1900 near Odin, Marion County IL, died 11/20/1975. He had one brother Neil Modlin (no middle name), who was about 2-4 years younger and died at 48 in the early 50's. He had two children who died at birth. This must have been in the 20's or early 30's. All are buried in Peaceful Valley Cemetery, Odin IL.

It would be best to Email me because I may not remember to check this site very often.
