Hi Darryl,
Read your message and if you still follow this thread I have the information you were inquiring about. Cecilia Moen was my GGG Grandmother and her daughter Inger Martinson was married to an Andrew Stephen Moen (no relation) of Iowa. They had 7 children from oldest to youngest; Aksel Selmer Moen (my Great Grandfather), Stephen Wilford Moen, Clara O. Moen, Alfred E. Moen, Russell Moen, and Bernice Moen. My Great Grandfather Selmer Moen married a French woman by the name of Gertrude LaFleur and had 4 children from oldest to youngest; Bernard Moen, Kathryn Ann Moen, Arthur Moen, and Russell John Moen (my Grandfather). Russell John Moen married a Swedish woman Willene Wedin (my grandmother) and they had 7 children; William Russell Moen SR., Cory Moen, Dawn Moen, Marilynn Moen, Selmer Moen, Bonnie Moen, and Russell Matthew Moen. There are no living male descendants with the last name Moen from this family except myself. All the males had daughters and all the females had sons! I was the exception, rare enough I am a blood descendant of 2 separate Moen families and have yet to find out If they are indeed related.
If anyone has ancestry roots or knows of the parents of Andrew Stephen Moen of 1873-1939 Lake Mills, Iowa please let me know.
Thanks,
William Russell Moen JR
