Hi Cheri - Our Branch came from Ruth Hill too. My mom was Myrna J Moench her father was Frank Moench, mother Xinia Moench(Evens). His dad was one of their Children, I forget which one. I believe there might have been 6 wives in total I haven't looked in a while. Two of them were sisters, there were two families with lots of children. I have a very detailed list of all the children and marriage dates and deaths somewhere. I put it together sometime before the internet with information I got from the church. You do know that Louis F Moench was the founder of Weber State University, when it was called Weber State Accademy or something like that. My Mom showed me a picture of his statue in front of the college when I was a kid, I also found two pages about him and his backround in a Mormon history book. There is a building at Weber named after him. One of his decendents just recently recieved a PHD for something in the college (I was checking college records) I have lots of cousins and family that carry the name "Moench" in Colorado (Denver) California (bay area) and New Mexico all really nice people. My grand father Frank Moench Sr is still alive and close to 90 years old. Our grandmother didn't really like the Mormons so she wasn't real free with information. You can email me if you like on [email protected]
Mike
