Hi Annette

Thank you for the trouble of posting.

My great great great Grandfather was Patrick Moffatt recorded as being of Curry, a farmer. His son, my great great grandfather, James Moffatt, is recorded as marrying Mary Scanlon in February 1876 at the Roman Catholic Chapel of Bunninadden that I believe may have been in Curry which is in the south of Sligo, as opposed to Ahamlish and and Drumcliffe which as you know are in northern Sligo. His elderst son, my grandfather, John Moffat, was in Manchester England by the time of the 1901 English census. Of the fate of John Moffatt's siblings, Mary,Thomas, and James, I have been able to discover nothing.

So at the moment, apart from the name, and their being in the same County although some distance apart, I have nothing that suggests a connection.
