Egads, it's been four years since I visited this posting!
My 5th great grandparents were John Moffatt, baptized 9 May 1713 in St. Columb Minor, and Anne Symons, baptized 15 Sep 1711 in St. Columb Minor. Late breaking development, I discovered in some online session court records John and one of his four sons were appointed game keepers to Lord Godolphin in Breage in the 1770s and 1780s era. This may have been the reason for my Moffatt line departed from St. Columb Minor and headed for the Breage, Sithney and Crowan area.
Hope to hear from you cousins, thanks for the posts. I've been unable to figure out the St. Columb Minor Moffatts lines. I enjoy learning anything I can about them.
Cheerio, Hope You Are Well.
