Moffatt/Moffett/Moffitt Shaffer, Husband Ky. Ill. Pa

My GGGGrandmother , Emmy Moffett/Maffett/Moffitt was in the 1850 Census of Madison Co, Illinois, living alone close to her son Joseph Moffitt and his family, with a Little girl named Virginia Washburn age 6 and Emmy's son Theodore age 9. Since we found that, we have found where Emmy Moffett/Maffett married a Elijah Wasburn in Clinton Co, Illinois in March 1842. So I have come to think that she must have married Mr. Washburn and had another child, that we did not know about. Have always wondered about the Little girl and where she came from, and if she was a relative, but had no idea that she might be Emmy's daughter. She was born in 1844. Does anyone know anything about the marriage or any information about Emmy or Elijah. Emmy also Married John Hobbs later on. I am looking for my GGGGrandfather, John Moffett , Emmy Moffetts 2nd husband, I do not know how he died or where he is buired or when he died. I was also interested in knowing when Elijah died and any other information anyone has . Emmy/Amey was the daughter of Mary(Husband, daughter of Herman Husband) and David Shaffer of Pa. Also If anyone has information about Joseph Moffitt, Emmy/Amey & John's Moffet's son . I am thinking someone in one of these family's must have information on John Moffett.
Thanks. Deb
