In 1910 Ola Pearl was living with Robert Redden & Nancy Louisa (Norwood) Mofield:

1910 Age:  57     Gender:  M     Race:  W     PoB:  KY
State:  Kentucky     County:  MARSHALL     P.O.  1-DIST

Mofield, Robert R. age 57 m. 32 yrs. KY NC NC
Luizer wife age 54 m. 32 yrs. 6 childen 4 living TN NC NC
Kelzie E. son age 19 KY KY TN
Pearl L. dau age 15 KY KY TN
Ola P. dau age 9 KY KY TN
Willie E. son age 5 KY KY TN

Some of Robert & Louisa's descendants believe that Ola P. and Willie E. were the children of Robert and Louisa's oldest son, William L. and his wife Victoria Isabell Nelson, who married 13 jul 1899 in Marshall, KY.

1900  Olive Voting Precinct, Marshall County, Kentucky
Series: T623     Microfilm:  542     Book:  2   EN 105  Page:  188      #144/144
Morefield, Willie b. jan 1876 age 24 m. 1 yr KY KY KY
Belle wife b. jun 1876 age 23 m. 1 yr. 0 children

It is also believed that Willie E., age 5 in 1910, was actually a female, Willie Estas, who married Rebon Mathis.

Robert Redden Mofield m. Nancy Louisa Norwood 13 jan 1874 in Marshall, KY. His line is as follows:

Alfred Mofield and Elizabeth Redden m. 11 sep 1848 Marshall, KY

Alfred's parents:
Green Morefield @1797 VA - d. bef 1856 m. Elizabeth Nelson b.@1803 VA-d. @1860

Green Morefield was in Stewart, TN in 1820, in Calloway, KY in 1830 & 1840, in Marshall, KY in 1850.

As far as I know, no marriage record has been found for Green and Elizabeth, but their marriage is proved by a will of Elizabeth's brother (? I don't remember the details, but have the information somewhere in my files).

No document ties Green to the Halifax, VA Mo(o)refields, but there is a lot of circumstantial evidence that does. It's complex, but if you're interested, let me know and I'll send it to you privately or post it here. I am absolutely convinced that he is from the Halifax, VA family. I have more information on Green's children and their descendants, if you're interested. You can also find information about him on the Morefield GenForum, the Moorefield GenForum and on MorefieldHomeplace, a group of MFLD researchers (all spelling variations, including Mofield) on
