Hi! I have been researching my mother's side of my family. Cortesy of Felicia Stinson (she put together some information in this great website), I have found the following information that my family comes from England and later married Alaska Native Inupiat Eskimo from Diomede, Alaska.

Here are the Mogg's in my mother's family:
-Jeannette Louise "Gigi" Carpenter (married name: Immingan) Nome, Alaska (me)
-Lorena Ann Mogg (1942) Nome, Alaska (my mom)
-Samuel Snell Mogg (1901 or 1904 to 1970)Alaska (mom's dad)
-William Mogg (1857 to 1933) in Diomede, Alaska & Seattle WA
-Samuel Snell Mogg (1829 to 1918)
-George Mogg (1795 to 1882) Stoke Damerel, Devon
-Matthew Mogg (1764 to 1839) Plymouth, Devon
-William Mogg (1719 to 1786) Bridgerule, Devon
-William Mogg (1692 to 1750)
-John Mogg (1655 to 1728)
-Richard Mogg (1550 to 1641)
-Richard Mogg (1516 to 1577)
