William MOGRIDGE (b. 1766) & Grace MOGRIDGE (b. 1767), Cheriton-Fitzpaine, Devon

I am researching my MOGRIDGE line in 18th century Devonshire, England, with what looks like at least two intermarriages between branches. I have William MOGRIDGE (b. ca. 1766, Cheriton-Fitzpaine, Devon) and wife Grace MOGRIDGE (b. ca. 1767, Cheriton-Fitzpaine, Devon), marr. 5 Mar 1792. They had children Ann, Abraham, William, Mary, Christopher, Anna Maria, Philip, in that order, born between 1793 and 1810. I am descended from Mary (b. ca. 1799), who married James BRADFORD (b. ca. 1801, Cadeleigh, Devon).

The parents of William are Thomas MOGRIDGE and wife Sarah ___. I have no further info on them.

The parents of Grace are Philip MOGRIDGE (b. ca. 1738, d. Aug 1797, Cheriton-Fitzpaine) and Ann MOGRIDGE (b. ca. 1744, Cheriton-Fitzpaine), marr. 12 Feb 1767. Both of these parents appear to be grandchildren of Abraham MOGRIDGE. The children of Philip and Ann are Grace, Sarah, Ann, Mary, Charity, in that order, born between 1767 and 1777.

If anyone has information on any of these lines, I would appreciate collaborating.

Regards,
Lance Ware
