John G. Mohn (also known as John Mohn Jr.) was born in Williams Township, PA (Northampton County) on August 16, 1800 and died in Gnadenhutten, OH on January 16, 1857. He is buried in the old Moravian Churchyard Cemetary in Gnadenhutten, and I have digital images of his marker which I will gladly send to anyone who is interested.

Incidentally, the father of John Mohn Jr. was (of course) John Mohn who is listed in the 1800 Federal Census for Williams Township, PA. He and his family (John Jr., two sisters, and mother)soon moved to Plainfield Township, PA where on October 4, 1803 Henry Mohn was born (my 3G grandfather).

Walter Mohn
North Canton, OH
