William Howard Mohn 1885-1932 b. Peoria

My grandfather, William Howard Mohn, was born in Peoria, IL 23 Oct 1885 and died in Harlan County, KY 27 May 1932. On his marriage license issued Perry County KY (1921) he listed his parents as Pete and Elizabeth Mohn, and his place of birth as Peoria. He also listed himself at that time as a widower.
My late father, who could not remember much about him, thought he had been born in Springfield, but apparently he may have lived part of his youth there. My father also knew nothing of any prior marriages.
Wm. Howard Mohn reportedly had a brother who migrated west to Idaho, Washington, or environs in the 1910s as a labor organizer. The family was involved in coal mining and railroad construction.
Any of this connect with anyone else's info? I have contacted a large contingent of Mohns in Peoria, who provided me a very detailed family history for most of those immigrants, but we cannot link up the mysterious Pete and Elizabeth!
