Moses was a farmer. Daughter Mary recalled the family moved from Tenn to Illinois. She said they lived in White Co, and Hamilton Co. Illinois. She joined her family for the move around 1850 to Arkansas. We see the family in 1840 (White Co., IA), in 1850 (Lawrence Co., AR), and 1860 thru 1880 in Benton Co., AR.
Moses claims his father was born in Germany.
