Looking for info on Molloy's in Bklyn,NY
Hello all, Looking for info on my great grandfather Luke Molloy and grandfather Louis Edward Molloy. My great grandfather Luke was born in Ireland and emigrated to Newfoundland then to Brooklyn, Ny. I have no dates but this had to be in the second half of the 1800's. I'm pretty sure he was still alive in the early 1930's. He was an operating engineer in NY(he worked the cranes in construction). He owned a house on 52st between 8th and 9th ave's in Bensonhurst, Brooklyn. He was married to Bridget Powers, sorry I have no dates or other info hoping someone does. Family hearsay says they lost the house in the great depression. My grandfather was also an operating engineer and lived at 1920 8th ave in Park slope, Brooklyn. He was a WW1 veteran he died at the age of 38 in approx 1935 of TB. So his DOB is approx 1897. He was married to Johanna(Anne)Cleary. Her parents were Timothy and Elizabeth Cleary born in Ireland. Elizabeth's maiden name was Daly.
Sorry for the long post but if anybody can help with dates etc or any info it would help me start my search. I am sure they had brothers and sisters so maybe I will find a lost cousin or two. Thanks.
