Looking for any info on the above. We know Martin came from France as a soldier with the Royal Rousillon, Boisset Regiment, to fight under MONTCALM in the French/Indian Wars of 1755. His parents were Jean-Baptiste and Rose LIOTARD.
Martin was born May 2, 1723 at Pernes, Les Fontaines, Avignon, France. Martin married Marie Josephe BOISSEL, d/o Charles and Therese DAUDELIN, on 2 May 1757, at Vercheres. He died 6 Feb 1769 at St. Genevieve, Berthier, Que.
Any info on this line would be greatly appreciated.
There is more info on Martin at: http:www.cyberus.ca/~quinto
Thanks,
L:)
