Hi Laurie, I will try to be more helpful process of moving and all notes are in boxes...but you might like to try the ROBERT home to have over 4000 names... at <> Good luck..My Monet starts with Francois Monet dit Laverdure m. Marie 1699....He came from France toward the end of 1600s in a regiment of Marines under Monsieur de Noyan and fought in the battle of Quebec in 1690.. as well as at the Deerfield,MA Massacre
of Feb 29, 1704...during which his future daughter in law, Elizabeth Corse was taken captive to Canada at age 7 only to be eventually married to her 2nd husband, Francois's son, Pierre Monet in 1729...

Marie Dumas was the daughter of René Dumas dit Rencontre, a soldier of the Carigan compagnie Grand
