Manuel Moniz, Portugal, Hawaii, Oakland

Just adding some confusion here. I am the descendant of Manuel Moniz. There are several Moniz families from the Oakland area and one has a Linquica Company by the name of "Moniz Linquica" and it is a local favorite. We are NOT related to the linquica Moniz's.

My Great grandfather Manual Moniz married Mary Francinca Jordan and had Arthur Joseph Moniz and Margaret Frances Moniz and a child that died at infancy George Moniz. Manual Moniz had brothers and sisters and was born on the Island of San Miguel in the Azores. We believe that they came from the town of Rezentes and the family was called Moniz-Rezentes because of the very large number of Moniz's on the island of San Miguel.

Arthur Joseph "babe" "pedro" Moniz married Adeline "Edna" Joseph. Arthur and Edna had Marymae Kathleen Moniz, Arthur Joseph Moniz Jr. and Richard Wayne Moniz.

Margaret Frances Moniz married Arthur Travers. Arthur and Margaret had one daughter Patricia Ann Travers.

We are looking for Manual's brothers and sisters families. One sister that we do know of was named Dorothy. One brother that we do know of was named Augusta nicknamed "Gus". We very much appreciate any help.
