Hello. I can trace my mother Salome Arguello to Maria Melitona Lucero directly through her maternal line as follows:
(maiden names)
Salome Arguello
Mercedes Amador
Maria Salome Montejano
Maria Melitona Lucero
By the names involved, history and what my mother has told me, I believe these ancestors were sephardic jews coming to San Jose Del Cabo by way of Miraflores, Lima, Peru. My mother has a picture of Cornelio Montejano as well as others from this family line.
