How are you doing cousin? I did not know you were so interested in our family name. There is a website that concentrates on descendants of Don Diego de Montemayor called skyfamily.com/dddd It has a lot of information on the family name. I believe our branch of the family comes from one of his daughters who settled in Zuazua a long time ago. Her children took the name Montemayor as it was the custom back then to take the more prominent name. Our cousins Homero and Marcela have more information as well.
