I posted yesterday but did not see it on the message board so I'll try once again. Clara de Villarreal is sometimes listed as Clara de Renteria. She is the daughter of Capitan Diego de Villarreal and Ynes de Renteria sometimes Ines. Clara married Capitan Miguel de la Garza y Montemayor abt February 20, 1684 in Monterrey, NL, Mexico. They had a daughter that i am aware of by the name of Margarita de Montemayor. I believe this is the line you are looking for because of the Spainish custom of naming children after the grandparents (i.e. Diego de Villarreal). Miguel was the son of Capitan Lazaro de la Garza Falcon and Petronila Rodriguez de Montemayor. Good luck in your search. See page 5 act 22 LDS film 0167982 (1681-1688) or Index to Marriages of the Dioceses of Guadalajara.
