Again I refer folks to this webpage LINK that has some of the best NOTES regarding our earliest Ydna MOODY line.

Here you can read about Thomas MOODY (b.c1710) in Nor. Ireland and his 1st wife Jean McQUISTON's son ALEXANDER.
PLEASE Also NOTE that Thomas and Jean named daughters ELINOR of which "HELLEN"/Helen/Ellen are all forms of and a daughter Mary.Same names that the Alexander MOODIE of Co. Antrim, Nor. Ireland named two of his daughters that were baptized at the Lisburn First Presbyterian Church in the late 1690's along with son John MOODY/Moodie.
It might be that this early Alexander MOODIE removed to Co. L'derry and that is where our Thomas was born.
I read that Lisburn was a rather large town in Co. Antrim so perhaps it was in these early days as well.
This is all just Speculation at the moment, but I am just trying to point out the Similarities between this early Alexander MOODIE and the Possibility that he Might be the father of our Ydna Thomas MOODY of Co. L'derry, Nor. Ireland which is only a handful of miles away from this Co. Antrim area by the way.
And also let's not forget that Alexander MOODIE and the others of So. Leith, Scotland that I posted about the other day who could also be tied to our Ydna family tree due to the names of CLEMENT and HOGG and LESLIE that I found and posted about tied to some MOODIE's there.
They also have a Very Strong probability of being linked to our early Ydna families of Co. Antrim and Co. L'derry, Nor. Ireland.
