Moodey family, Windsor Locks, Hartford, onnecticut in 1910
Posted by: Tony Collins (ID *****1272) Date: August 03, 2011 at 02:45:53

Anyone connected to I W B Moodey (born Canada abt 1866)and wife Lizzie L Moody (born Maine abt 1866) who were resident at Windsor Locks, Hartford, Connecticut USA in 1910. They had a step-son Arthur Moodey (born Maine abt 1890). Also living with them was thirteen (13) year old Lizzie Chambers (born Scotland abt 1896). Was Lizzie Chambers adopted or otherwise related / connected to the Moodey family?. Lizzie Chambers had a sister Christine Chambers (born Scotland abt 1900) and Christine seems to have been adopted by a Charter family in Connecticut and married an Emil Norden. The parents of the girls were Christopher Chambers and Mary Chambers nee Wiggins who took their family to USA in 1902/1903. Maternal grandparents Thomas Wiggins and Margaret nee Dempsey also thought to have gone to USA from Dalmellington, Ayrshire, Scotland. Any information or further direction appreciated.
