Ah, Melissa,
You have brought up one of my favorite thorns in Moody family history. There are desendants of Jonathan Moody out there, and of Edward Gordon Moody, in particular who could participate in the ydna project, but thus far have declined. This would surely help define whether we are dealing with a Clement line, or another lineage altogether.

Please, if you know of any Moody surnamed male with descedancy from Jonathan and Elizabeth Gordon Moody or Edward Gordon Moody & second wife Mehitable Brown of Epping, NH and Corinna, ME (sons Obediah Brown, Lewis B., William, Flint Bartie, Isaac, and Edward P.) see if they wouldnt agree to the Moody ydna project. Scholarships available, if you let me know.
Barbara B. of the Clement Moody line
