I have two pieces of Moody memoribilia to post to see if anyone is interested.
JOHN MINOT MOODY FAMILY BIBLE, ME & photo of HELEN LOUISE MOODY, b. 1893 in western MA.
T have become the caretaker of the Family Bible of JOHN MINOT MOODY, whom I believe descends from William of Newbury. He was born AUGUST 17 1766 in Maine and d. SEPT 1 1856 in Bath, ME. He married MARY BOYRNTON DUNN b. Aug 1782 in Natick MA and d. jul 17 1869 in Bath, ME They had 6 children: Nancy, Johnh Minot, Jr., Mary Dunn, George, and Chasrle Eckley Moody. If anyone would like this bible please let me know.
I also have been informed of a photo taken in 1913 available of a woman who is probably the same as the Helen L. Moody b 1893, MA in my database; she descends from John of Hartford and is daughter of George Reed Moody and Sarah A. Fellows (b. England) of western MA. Here is the message I received:
