Died -Dec.13 1838 Derry Presbyterian Church Cemetery
Dauphin County Pennsylvania

Came to America about 1773
Served in the American Revolutionary War
Married (Margaret) or Mary Hutchison April 18, 1775
Settled in Hanover twp, Lancaster now part of Dauphin County Pennsylvania.

She was born 1748- May 18 1825
She is the daughter of Joseph Hutchison a native of the county of Antrim Ireland, born in 1711. Joseph was perhaps the first school teacher in Derry. When a young man settled in Derry where he conducted one of the earliest if not the first regularly established school in the Scotch-Irish settlement. He died in February 1785 buried in the Old Derry Church graveyard

For over 50 years.
Rev. John Moody was born
4th of July 1776, Hanover twp, Lancaster, now Dauphin County, PA
Rev. John Moody DD has a son also named John, Dr. John Witherspoon Moodey.
* This is our Line and these Moody's settle in Indiana.
