Hello,
I have been looking for a Samuel that lived in Lancaster Pa. 1778. Found alot of other samuels though..
Do you know anything about this
I have a transcribed copy of a Land Deed a couple pages..
In brief it
Gives land description...
Occurring in Twp. Drumore, Lancaster County Pa. Recorded May 9th 1778
Pages 632-636
Recorder John Hubley
Between Jehu Howell to Robt. Moody &AL

Names involved
Jehu Howell Wife Majery
To Men
Robert Moody
Samuel Moody
John Moody

I think this could be my Robert from Lancaster/Dauphin later. But dont know the connection between the men. I assume since the transfer was in 1778 they were all men by then, putting there births around Roberts 1752.

I got the deed in 2001.

I looked at the DNA website. Confusing to me. I cant tell if theres a group representing my sons line or not.

Christine
