I have not made a visit to the forum for quite a while and so was intrigued to find your recent messages regarding a Moody non-paternity event, as the ydna project likes to call it. Like Melissa, I thought at first you might be a Clement descendant (my line), but he is of the I haplogroup. William Moody of Newbury, MA is the big gray highlighted group, but there is a smaller bright green group containing just 2 participants who are also R1b1a2's who dont match the William of Newbury group. Both those men, who are somehow distant cousins can trace back to Maine, a Daniel Moody from Parsonsfield in the early 1800s and another participant to David Moody b. abt 1783 probably in Rockingham Co., NH married to sukey Mudgett and moved to Prospect, Waldo, ME. the latter's sons seemed to stay in Maine.
Which highlight color in the Moody ydna project do you match to and/or which participant # on that chart are you? I would love to see if I can help. I have a good size database on both R1b1 lines I mentioned.
