Hi Melissa, I have been reading your posts for several years now and have found it all very interesting. I wanted to let you know that we just received DNA results for our Moody branch. Initially. we could only go as far back as our James A., born about 1772 in Delaware and ended up in Boardman Ohio. My grandfather, Lawrence Dale Moody, was the son of Jasper Newton Moody, who was the son of James Clark Moody, who was the son of James A, - ended up in southern Illinois. The DNA results were received today and I haven't really had a chance to go over all of the information I have yet but did want to let you know that we link (if I'm reading results correctly) to Thomas Moody, b.c. 1710, Northern Ireland. I have a lot of information at home, but am at work right now. I'm also not sure I understand all of this yet-I still need to read all of the information that comes with the results. I'm sure you would understand it much more than me at this point. I think you will probably get a copy of the results too. Anyway I wanted to let you know in hopes that it might help in your research (and mine). I don't remember exactly when it was, but you did have information on the Boardman, Ohio branch in some of your posts. I am working on a chart and hope to post that at some point too. Thank you for all that you have been doing and all of the information you have been posting. I am very excited to see what else I can find now.
