I know what you mean, it is overwhelming at first when you realize you have a match to a batch of Moody's who have several folks in the ydna test. Like I've said, at least now, your family descendants will know from which branch to research if they wish to without all the ramblings around we all did prior to taking the Ydna test. I had so many set-backs over my years and years of searching and it was always so disappointing. Finally though when we got our Ydna test results back and had a match and then had more matches back to those Moody's from Nor. Ireland and some from the Dunfermline and Dundee areas of Scotland and then prior to that back to ancient Norway, it was VEry Exciting!
Bob, our project admin. should be posting your numbers soon I would think, so no need to post your numbers unless you want to. Just be sure you Upload them to YSearch so you can find others that you closely match to. Its great and the testing lab has that option on your page at their site...you will see the little "clickable" for Ysearch on one of your pages. Anyway, as I said, you are still part of our ever growing branch of our Moody tree and we all share a common ancestor somewhere back in time.
Do you know if your earliest James Moody has any links to the James Moody family of PA who was in the Ritchie Rangers that came from Co. Donegal, Ireland?
If you do link to those Moody's then we have a whole new branch to add to the family tree and that would be fantastic!
